about
Welcome to Bitterness Rots the Hand ✋🖤➡️🤍 This is more than a blog. It is a journey through pain, healing, forgiveness, recovery, faith, and transformation. For years, I carried wounds from childhood neglect, parental addiction, abandonment, trauma, and my own struggles with addiction. Like many people, I believed that holding onto anger protected me. What I eventually learned was that bitterness does not hurt the person who wounded us—it slowly damages the person carrying it. Bitterness rots the hand that holds it. Through these pages, I share my story openly and honestly—not because my journey is unique, but because so many people are silently carrying similar pain. My hope is that as you read these words, you discover that healing is possible, recovery is possible, forgiveness is possible, and freedom is possible. This space is for the wounded.
This space is for the recovering.
This space is for the survivor.
This space is for anyone ready to break cycles and choose healing. Whether you are overcoming addiction, processing childhood trauma, rebuilding relationships, strengthening your faith, or simply searching for hope, know this: Your past may explain your story, but it does not define your future. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Healing. Forgiveness. Freedom. — Wanda Ruiz
